The Slidell BBQ Challenge is a Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) sanctioned competition.
The KCBS is the largest BBQ society in the world with over 400 events sanctioned every year and
15,000 members across the US. Slidell BBQ Challenge was created as a fund raising event with the endorsement of the City of Slidell, providing support for a variety of local projects undertaken by the Slidell Noon Lions Club and the Rotary Club of Slidell. This event is designed to enhance a family friendly community and environment in Olde Towne Slidell. Profits from the event are going to support the Lions, and Rotary community projects. |
